Default Birds Today

Had Finches all over the feeder this morning. The color seems to be completely done as there were a couple completely yellow Finches. The Mourning Doves are all over the yard and the Cardinals have been busy. The Grackles are everywhere. Even as they are considered a nuisance bird it is all part of the new time of year (SPRING) and they too are a good thing.

Default Orioles

The Orioles and Hummingbirds are back in the last couple weeks and have been seen around the neighborhood. I can hear the Orioles around and have seen a couple hummers. A nice start to spring and summer.

Default Birds Today

Had Cardinals around the yard in the past couple days and it is nice to see them. Had Goldfinches in the flower garden and they were nice to see.

Had Morning Doves cooing this morning as I was leaving the house. They have been around the water feeder a lot lately. I can hear the Cardinals around the yard but don't have a feeder up right now so are not getting a good look at them.

Default Red Headed Woodpecker

I have gotten started feeding again and was rewarded this past weekend with a Red Headed Woodpecker on the suet feeder. I have have many Downy Woodpeckers but never a Red Head on the feeder. I should say at least not that I have seen.

Default feeding

I have been feeding birds all winter but have been unable to fill the feeders a couple of times. My husband and grandkids would fill them for me.
I have seen the tree full of cardinals. It is a pretty sight.

Default At the feeder

Had a pair of Chickadee's on the feeder along with House Finches. There was one Downy Woodpecker on the suet feeder also. The heated water seems to draw a lot of birds.

Birds are feeding really good. Blue Jays are trying to take over the feeders. Also, had a pair of large doves at the feeders this week. Cardinals are always ready when I feel the feeder. I counted 23 one time when I fed. I fill the feeder and it only last 2 days. I have 5 feeders.
I have not been here for a while. I have had lots of health problems but doing better right now.
We did have snow this year. About 5 inches. I know that does not compare to you all but that is unusuall for us.
